Haha.

Nice music. Felt energetic, and the drums were right on cue. The kicking up of the notch was timed perfectly. If you want, I'll judge between yours and Georgem124's pieces.

SFaPiL2 responds:

Thanks ^__^.

It would be great if you'd want to judge between his and mine!

I don't think he submitted yet... but if you want I'll let you know when he will ^__^.

Cheers

Excuse me,

but you misspelt "Electrocute"

As for the song. Plain and repetitive. Just boring.

DyingFuzi responds:

sounds like you only listened to the first 30 seconds,
because i don't see much repetition in this song..
but i respect your opinion.

and yeah i misspelled the name intentionally (=

It's OK

The intro felt repetitive for a second, but the drum intro kicked it up a notch... then went down (bad) then became like a "Sonic the Hedgehod" thing in the background. Then I lost track....

So, kicked up and fun, but repetitive, and altogether unexciting or noteworthy.

797MHz responds:

Eh, I'm still working on getting better at FL, so I didn't think this would be the best song ever. Thanks for the review though!

Niceness on a stick

The intro was good. Like a chunk of exciting sneaking up on me. I also thought to look up, and see if Tom Cruise was hovering above me on a wire coming out of a circle hole in my roof. The bassed up booms were a well-paced addition, and further made me think "There's a spy at work". Honestly, medieval rebel isn't the best title, but from previous experience, I won't judge on that. However, it could have been a bit more exciting.

Nijg responds:

thanks for the review!

Its only called Medieval Rebel because of the names of the songs merged to make this song (Medieval Boss and The Rebel.) Those names fit those songs, but the merged name does not fit the merged song nearly as well :P

Didn't fit in

The intro sounded somewhat joyous, perfect for that sort of music. But, obviously you weren't gunning for that. It was like a "two lovers run from opposite sides of the paddock into each others arms" scenario, not a sad one. With the choir in the background I did somewhat see a funeral there, but only for 4 seconds. So, quite honestly, in a lovers get-together, perfect. As a sad song, terrible.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Ah, but you miss why music is as much an art as it is. Like any work of art, it can be interpreted any way. You, someone hearing this piece, perceived your own image of what the music was conveying when, in fact, I had a different image in mind.

If I could visually display the scene in mind that this music intended to convey, you might find it makes more sense when it fits in with what was happening. But you don't know that, because I didn't explain what was happening, because to fully experience what this piece conveys, you'd have to see it for yourself.

In the future, when you rate other people's music, keep in mind that their image and your perceived image are not always going to line up, and never call a piece of music "Terrible" just because you see something different, and it doesn't fit YOUR image. It's like calling a poem "terrible" when in truth, no one can possibly understand the poem but the poet himself.

In truth, this piece had nothing whatsoever to do with lovers.

Love it.

Love that intro. Deep bass alone and violins combined are one of the saddest sounds on the planet. I liked the grabual build up. It painted the picture well. The fragmented piano made me think about this huge guys faced, etched sad looking at his comrades fallen. As he walks off. The drums at the end made me think something angry was about to come, and a strike of anger hits the Hero's face. Then static? I'll consider it a technical glitch. Excellently done, although it could have had a bit more "oomph" in there somewhere, like a climax.

Enzer0 responds:

So you want to hear an extended More epic version - I'll work on it then!

Love it.

It had a nice, tropical touch, like you're running like Jesse Owens through a rainforest with a sword in pirate gear. I'm not sure how I got that image. Weird eh? But, I like that image. And thats what great music should do. Paint a likeable image in the listeners mind. And this song easily did that. Still- jungle running pirate sprinter. Odd, you'll agree? I don't know, but it's on my iPod.

krssvr responds:

LOL jesse owens? anyway this song was weird it just kinda popped in my head i will most likely be updating/upgrading this song soon with higher quality sounds, thanks for the review

Nice

Excellent intro, with a nice sort of motivational music. Well-paced and rythmatic.

Semaphore responds:

I gave my best =D

glad you like it Boombox277

Excellent

Very well paced, with a good variety of sounds in there. The beeping was an excellent addition, and might I say, some of the best I've seen in a long time.

DjUntold responds:

Wow, thank you so much!
It means a lot to hear such great feedback :)

Pretty plain.

The guitar was dominating but plain, but a good distraction from the music. Clear, but poorly constructed. Why do you feel the need to swear so much?

giftedbuttwisted responds:

I swear cuz I'm an angry little child XD

Screw it, I give up.
